Iris Remory serves as the Outdoor Educator and Gardener of Natural Wonders, bringing a strong background in outdoor education, child empowerment, nature/play-based learning, and stewarding the land with regenerative values. Iris believes that the child leads the way and will undoubtedly blossom into their empowered individuality when given the spaciousness, encouragement, and stability to do so.

She began her teaching journey in 2021 as an empowerment guide for ages 17+ at James Madison University where she taught the necessary skills of nervous system regulation, somatic intelligence, meditation, authentic movement, and how to uncover one's unique purpose/gifts. Towards the end of her undergraduate career at JMU, she founded Serenity Center, a sanctuary for those to connect with a heart-led life, deepen ease in a painful body, and steward their gifts harmoniously with earth.

After graduating from JMU with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2023, she discovered a deeper calling for outdoor education and began her career as a backpacking/wilderness adventure guide throughout Virginia + West Virginia where she led ages 9-17 on 1-2 week backpacking trips with kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing, caving, team-building, and plant-identification immersions. This calling led her to a popular learning community in WNC called Children's Garden, where she began her commitment as a nature/play-based teacher, and furthered the transformational method of really being with the child and uplifting their gifts through explorative curiosity, intuitive expression of art/music/song, and synching with earth's sacred rhythms.

Iris is ecstatic to connect the children back to the vast abundance of earth and fresh vegetables by building our own interative garden here at Natural Wonders! Iris hopes this mends humanity towards a harmonious relationship with all beings and to prevent/heal disease, chronic pain, and relational brokenness.
