School Age Program Overview

Our School Age Program at Natural Wonders Early Learning Center serves children from kindergarten through 12 years of age, providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that meets the needs of busy families. 

​

During the school year, we offer before and after school care with pickup and drop-off to and from Clymore Elementary School by the Augusta County School Bus. Afternoons include a healthy snack, outdoor play, and homework time, allowing children to unwind, stay active, and receive guidance on their schoolwork.

When school is closed for holidays, teacher workdays, or weather-related clousures, we provide full-day care at our daily rate. These days blend structured activities, creative projects, and free play, giving children a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.

In the summer, our program shifts into a full-week summer camp for all school-age children.  We focus on exploring and enjoying nature through activities such as nature walks, gardening, outdoor games, science experiments, and art inspired by the natural world. Themed weeks and special events keep the summer exciting, while fostering curiosity, teamwork, and independence.

With a balance of recreation, academic support, and nature-based exploration, our School Age Program offers children from kindergarten to age 12 a place to grow, connect, and thrive year-round.
