FRIENDSGIVING

This week at Natural Wonders, we prepared a heartwarming and delicious Friendsgiving. Each classroom prepared a turkey using a different method, turning the week into an exciting culinary adventure for our children.

Our classes explored a variety of cooking techniques—basting, crockpot cooking, injecting, and even brown-and-serve methods. The School Age group took on the challenge of frying a turkey, which sparked lots of curiosity and conversation. Each approach allowed children to learn something new, use their senses, and observe how different methods change flavor, texture, and appearance.

Beyond the food, what truly made Friendsgiving special was the fellowship. We enjoyed time together with friends both new and old, sharing laughter, stories, and gratitude. The sense of community filled every room and reminded us how meaningful these shared experiences are for children and adults alike.

Friendsgiving was a beautiful celebration of learning, togetherness, and thankfulness—and we are grateful to everyone who helped make the day so memorable.
