Summer Program

The Natural Wonders Early Learning Center Summer Program is the perfect place for children ages 5-12 to spend their summer exploring, creating, and having fun outdoors! Open Monday through Friday from 6:30a.m. to 6:30p.m., our program offers dependable full-day care in a lively, nurturing environment where kids can learn through hands-on adventure.

At Natural Wonders, summer means getting outside, getting messy, and discovering the world in exciting ways. Children will dig into nature-based play-splashing in water, playing in mud, exploring trees and plants, and observing insects and wildlife. Every day encourages curiosity, imagination, teamwork and confidence through real, hands-on experiences.

Each week brings a brand-new theme to keep things fresh and exciting! From Fairies, Gnomes, and Bugs to Birds and Dinosaurs, Gardening, National Forest Week, Space and the Solar System, Shark Week, Survival Camping, Boats and Floats, and even a Back to School celebration-there's always something new to look forward to.

Families will need to provide a packed lunch daily, while we will provide breakfast and snacks to keep the children fueled for adventure. Natural Wonders is also a subsidy provider, helping make high-quality summer care accessible to eligible families.

To fully enjoy all the fun (especially the messy play!), children should bring:

• Towels

• Extra clothes, water wear and shoes

• A reusable water bottle

• Sunscreen

• Packed Lunch

Located at 74 Quick's Mill Road in Verona, Virginia, the program is $175 per week. Natural Wonders Summer Program blends learning, outdoor exploration, and play into one unforgettable summer experience-where children don't just pass the time, they grow, explore and make amazing memories every day.
