Rebecca Ward is the proud Director of Natural Wonders Early Learning Center and the oldest daughter of Carol Maddox, whose example instilled in her a strong sense of leadership, compassion, and resilience.  Raised with a deep appreciation for nature and family, Rebecca has carried those values into every aspect of her life and career.

She has worked in the field of early childhood education for most of her life, bringing decades of hands-on experience, a nurturing spirit, and a belief that children thrive best when surrounded by love, structure, and the natural world.

Rebecca lives in the quiet countryside of Free Union, Virginia, with her husband and their two dogs. When she's not guiding her team or caring for children, you'll likely find her outdoors-trout fishing in mountain streams or striper fishing at the Kerr Lake.  Her passion for nature, family, and community shines through in everything she does, especially in the environment she has created at Natural Wonder: a place where children grow, explore, and learn with joy.
